UAVSA’s NEW PRICING STRUCTURE
Notwithstanding the introduction of Part 107 and the relaxing of several of the operational requirements such as operational licensing, the statute is highly complex and because it is new and untested, the practical impact of the language is still uncertain. Nevertheless, new operators still want to be assured they are operating within the confines of the statute and will not be fined or subject to criminal penalty for improper operation. Additionally, new operators want to make sure any submissions to the FAA will be processed expeditiously and not be rejected for lack of supporting evidence and proper documentation.

We will assure all applicants and future operators that all documents submitted to the FAA will be professionally drafted, inclusive of everything needed inclusive of all evidence required to successfully acquire the legal authority to operate a drone commercially.
Below, UAVSA has set out a new pricing structure incorporating the changes imposed by Part 107.

UAVSA will review your application to assess whether it falls within the framework of Part 107. If it falls within 107 UAVSA will issue a certification. With this certification your requested operation may be conducted entirely under part 107 without a waiver or exemption
If it falls within Part 107 UAVSA will issue a certification identifying the factors qualifying the application under 107
$100-$150 depending on the complexity of the intended operation.
UAVSA will review your application to assess whether it falls within the framework of Part 107. If it doesn’t fall within 107 UAVSA will advise that a Certificate of Waiver is necessary under Part 107
If your application doesn’t fall within Part 107 UAVSA will draft a Certificate of Waiver identifying the specific areas from which the applicant is requesting a certificate of waiver from Part 107
$250-$450 depending on the complexity of the Certificate of Waiver. (this will depend on the evidence needed to show the Administrator finds that the proposed operation can safely be conducted under the terms of that certificate of waiver
UAVSA will review your application to assess whether it falls within the framework of Part 107. If it doesn’t fall under 107 and cannot be accomplished with a Certificate of Waiver UAVSA will advise that further regulatory relief is necessary. (e.g. UAV over 55 lbs; Flight ceiling breach; speed, etc.)
If your application doesn’t fall within Part 107 and cannot be accomplished with a Certificate of Waiver UAVSA will investigate the necessary regulatory needed and prepare the necessary documents for submission and will interface with the FAA to complete the submission process.

COA FEES FOR PRIVATE OPERATION

Municipalities including universities will still be required to Utilize the COA process for all private operations: (“private operations are those conducted not for commercial use.”)
